My friend Joe came over and needed a head shot.

The beauty of natural light.

Kim & Losi

I traveled to California for a Thanksgiving Trip. While I was there I saw my dear friend, Kim, and was able to met her new baby boy, Losi. We hung around her apartment and took a little walk.

I love my friend, Kim, and I REALLY love Losi.

I Only Have Pies for You

When I met my friend, Michael Martin, he was wearing sneakers, a pair of shorts and an apron, and he insisted I try one of the quiches he made for the party we both were attending. They were delicious.

He later told me about his blog, Piefolk, where he showcases not only his baking skills, but his comedic skills as well. I recently was invited for a photoshoot at his place. I've never made a pie, but he made baking it look like a piece of cake... pie... and he makes them in a way that only Micheal knows how. You'll see.

Check out some of my fav photos below and be sure to get yourself a slice of Piefolk.

Sons of Beaches

Yesterday, some friends and I went to Robert Mose Beach. Who knew the nice, quiet area of the beach would be nestled right in the nude section? Well, my friend, Gil, did so we set up camp and bathed ourselves in sunlight. While our beach neighbors preferred their bodies sans tan lines, I find it nice that part of me is still my pasty, winter base coat. My personal gauge of sorts, if you will.

The trade off to having a nice, quiet beach area with no children is that you have to deal with older, naked adults who, while completely comfortable spreading their legs wide to make sure every inch of their bodies are tan, would prefer not have a camera in sight. Anyhoo, these are the shots I got.

The Hale House Gay-la

Sometimes, I just want to get dressed up, but usually have nowhere to go. A-ha! Then came Monday when my friend, Linsday, scored us some tickets to the Annual Hale House Gala, a perk to being the event planner.

So we all stressed out about what to wear, did some last minute shopping, but when it was all said and done: We clean up well.

Were we the only NOT rich people there? YES!
Were we the only ones taking photos of ourselves? YES!
Did a man try to talk to us and upon finding out we were "nobodies" retreat? OF COURSE!
Did we look great, get as many drinks from the open bar, eat delicious food and have an after-party at a gay bar? MOST DEF!

I don't think I would have wanted it any other way!
